The fact is, the average consumer is uneducated when it comes to remanufactured or refurbished products - whether it’s a digital camera, iPod, or printer cartridge. Many people look at remanufactured printer cartridges as being old, used, or broken - but that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Myth #1 - Remanufactured printer cartridges aren’t equal in quality.

Myth #2 - Remanufactured printer cartridges could ruin my warranty.

But according to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, it is illegal for printer companies to void a warranty based on what type of printer cartridge you choose to use.

Myth #3 - Remanufactured printer cartridges have lower printing yields.

There are a number of factors that play a role in a printer cartridges yield. The standard yield for ink and toner cartridges is measured at 5% coverage. If you are printing pictures, web pages, or graphics of any kind then your yield will be significantly lower than you may have expected regardless of whether you are using a new cartridge or a remanufactured one.
