Adding more bokashi and/or a tablespoon of sugar can help stimulate the microbes into doing their work a bit better.

		<description>Thanks for the advice Al. The first batch had white mold so we think it was successful, but we think the second batch is bad because the mold is green.  We got the masher and we use it.  Let me know if there's anything else we should be doing.</description>

I delivered your bokashi bucket to G. a few weeks ago.

As long as the mold is white, everything is going to be okay.

Compressing the compostables after adding the bokashi would be a good thing to do. Did you get a potato masher with your kit? I recently started including it as part of the package. Let me know if you don't and I'll get one to you.
