For over 20 years, Digitech has been committed to saving the environment both by providing environmentally friendly products to our customers and by managing our own carbon footprint. But the environment is just one of several reasons why we feel that remanufactured laser toner cartridges are a superior choice for any business.

Reducing electronic waste: In North America, most trash ends up in landfills. However, appropriate landfill space is becoming harder and harder to find. By remanufacturing toner cartridges, we're helping to reduce the amount of waste that needs to enter our landfills.
Saving tax payers money: Transportation costs to landfills is getting more and more expensive. By remanufacturing toner cartridges, we are (in a small way) saving the tax payers from funding unnecessary disposal costs.
3rd World Disposal: This is less common in Canada, but there have been countless reports of companies disposing of waste across borders in countries were environmental regulations are more lax (or non-existent). In some cases this has lead to the pollution of the ground water, soil and air.
Better than recycling: Strictly speaking, remanufacturing toner cartridges is better than recycling toner cartridges because it reuses parts instead of sending those parts to be reprocessed into new items. Recycling takes a lot of time and energy and, in some cases, can have a zero net benefit when compared to straight disposal. Reducing consumption and remanufacturing waste products are the superior choices.
Maintain quality: Digitech is proud of the high-level of quality we produce in all of our remanufactured products. In fact, many of our remanufactured products have been shown to have longer life-spans than comparable products bought off of store shelves.
Laser printer warranty: Many people assume that using a remanufactured laser toner cartridge will void their laser printers warranty. This is not true. In fact, there is legislation in place that says that "warranties cannot be voided because of the use of aftermarket products".
Local next-day service: If you need toner cartridges, we'll deliver them the next day in our Toyota Prius Hybrid vehicle. So, you'll never need to worry about going to the local stationary store and buying expensive toner cartridges off the shelf.
Customer care: And if you ever have any questions or problems, Digitech provides a customer support line which you can call during working hours and speak to a real person, not a machine.
A report in 2001 estimated that the remanufactured toner cartridge industry saved 29.7 million toner cartridges from unnecessarily entering landfills. Unfortunately, several hundred million more did end up in the landfills. So, it's really up to consumers and business owners to get informed and make an educated decision.
