Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1990.
Will using remanufactured cartridges invalidate my printer’s warranty?
No. Both Canadian and U.S. Courts have ruled that printer manufacturers cannot restrict, in any way, shape or form, who you purchase supplies from.
What does “remanufactured” mean?
Remanufacturing means refurbishing used products to make them equal in quality to new products. This exerts less of a burn on the environment than turning parts back into raw materials for use in manufacturing systems.
Is there a minimum order?
No, you can order a single cartridge or 20 cartridges.
Will you take back all of my empty cartridges and is there a charge?
We will take back any empty toner cartridge you have, even if we do not remanufacture it. We will ensure that they are properly recycled, and there is no charge to you.
How fast can you be here to fix my printer?
If you're located in the lower mainland and call us by 2pm, we can get there the same day. Otherwise, we will get to you early the next day. 95% of our service calls are fixed same day on site.
Do I get paid for my empties?
We do not buy empties from our clients, while some of our competitors appear to do that, if you look at your original invoice carefully you will probably find that you were charged a deposit on the cartridge. So all they are doing is refunding your money. At Digitech, our prices are set on the understanding that we receive an empty cartridge in return, however we rely on the honour system and trust that our clients will return their cartridges to us.
